So I'm completly and utterly excited right now. How to (un)cage a girl, the new poem book by Francesca Lia Block, and Benny & Joon came in the mail today! Yays!

I've pretty much decided a new project for myself to. Lately I've just ben doing artwork for school, and as fun as school is (Me = geek...), I just need to have some personal projects going that will inspire me, but not take up all my time. So I figure I'll start doing some photo manips to keep my photoshop skills sharp, using floral pictures and such along with some of my favorite Francesca Lia Block qoutes. I also want to try and get my photography skills sharper than they are right now, so before I take a photography class next semester, I'm going to do a MASSIVE experiment this spring and summer taking entirely nature (and maybe anything else that strike my fancy) photos. I don't want to take the ones like I've been taking though, I really want to get more in on taking more stylized photographs. I really need to up my skill level far above what I am now. I can't just accept mediocre anymore (not that I really ever did, but you know what I mean)
